TechShop In Menlo Park California – Your Own Machine Shop!

Imagine a place where your artistic inventions come to life by your own hand; where members have access to tools and equipment, instruction and support from like-minded art creators.

Covering 15,000 square feet located at 120 Independence Dr in Menlo Park, CA, TechShop is the perfect workshop for artists, inventors, “makers”, or simply those who are crafty or like to tinker; TechShop is open to all skill levels.

At the TechShop workshop members are provided with a large variety of machines and tools – including welding stations, sheet metal equipment, milling machines, drill presses, industrial sewing machines, wood working equipment including a 4’ x 8’ ShopBot CNC router, tubing and metal bending machines, Epilog laser cutters, a Dimension SST 3-D printer, hand tools, and pretty much any other tool you can imagine needed to make pretty much anything.

While some people know how to use all the machines available at TechShop, most visitors only know how to use a few things. If you fall into this category, fear not, because TechShop has “Safety and Basic Usage” (SBU) classes to help familiarize you with the tools and equipment in about an hour; more in-depth classes are offered as well.
