DayStar Technologies, A Solar Energy Company Moves To East Bay.

DayStar Technologies, a solar energy company, has plans to move to the east bay area of Northern California. DayStar will rent 157,000 Sq. Ft. in the Pacific Research Center in Newark, CA.

Solar energy has been experiencing tremendous growth, roughly 40% according to Stephan DeLuca, President and Chief Executive Officer of DayStar. In fact, DayStar Technologies expects to hire 150 new employees at the solar manufacturing complex when it opens.

The photovoltaic market has been so strong manufactures are scrambling to keep up with production of photovoltaic cells and photovoltaic panels. Beyond that, DayStar Technologies (as well as a few other solar companies) is manufacturing a thin film solar panel that is building integrated.
