The Great Real Estate Plugin For WordPress

Hey, here’s a great way to easily set up a system of adding listings to your wordpress real estate site – like featured homes and more – with a nicely formatted look.

With the Great Real Estate plugin you can syndicate your listings to places such as Google Base, Google Real Estate, or Zillow, just to name a few (see a summary of the various feed programs below).

The Great Real Estate plugin comes with 4 custom Listing feeds that are all quite easy to get going; mostly because the XML structure development has already been done for you. But because this plugin is so cool, if you need to tweak the template or makes changes to it in any way, it can easily be modified.

That can’t always be said for other plug-ins.

Feed Summary

Google Base – delivers your available (for sale or for rent) listings to Google Base

Zillow – delivers all your listings to Zillow, including sold listings for Zillow’s “Virtual Sold Sign” feature.

Trulia – delivers all your listings to Trulia (provided you’re an agent or broker, they do not accept aggregator or FSBO feeds)

My Yahoo! and iGoogle – provides an RSS 2.0 “Media” feed for My Yahoo!, incorporating photos with your listings. This feed also works with Google’s iGoogle service.

Assuming that your permissions are set correctly – and presumably they were, since it worked for all that time – I’m guessing there’s a problem at the host end. Turn in a support ticket and see what they have to say.
