Our stunning 3 bedroom, 2 bath penthouse is perfectly located in downtown Athens, walking distance to the Acropolis and Plaka, Kolonaki and the Benaki and Cycladic museums, yet in the heart of a vibrant residential neighborhood surrounded by local shops, farmers markets, trendy, and not so trendy boutiques, cafes, and restaurants. Located on the top two floors of a modern Athenian apartment building, our home features an American style kitchen complete with full size appliances, as well as a full size clothes washer and clothes dryer. The three bedrooms sleep 8 guests and we've been told that our Sealy Posturpedic mattresses are the most comfortable beds in Athens! |

Our Athens vacation rental apartment is located between the Old Olympic Stadium and the Athens Hilton, just a 15 minute walk through the National Gardens to Syntagma Square, or via the Zappeion Gardens and Hadrien's Arch to the Plaka and the Acropolis. And while you'll want to explore the charming historical center, wander down Apostolou Pavlou and Dionysos Areopagou streets, two of the loveliest pedestrian areas in Athens, our guests find that vibrant Imittou street, a double wide boulevard, lined on one side with streets and cafes, is a great place for enjoying a coffee and observing Athenian life. Our neighborhood is home to several squares or Plateias, the largest of course, is Syntagma, but the locals favor the smaller, restaurant filled Pagrati squares like Varnava and Proskopon. Being a residential area, there are plenty of supermarkets, as well as bakeries, cheese shops, wine shops and sweet shops, where our guests stop up so they can enjoy a meal or two on our veranda or roof terrace overlooking the Acropolis and Mount Lykavittos. |
