We fell in love with this mountain cottage the first time we saw it. It is in the center of 10 acres in a gates community. Enjoy the quiet beauty of nature while rocking on the front porch. The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The living room has a wood burning fireplace, rocking chairs, twin day bed, and large pillows. There is a TV w/DVD/VCR, games, for all ages. The dining room table seats 8 and opens to seat 16. The master bedroom has a queen bed with new Sealy Mattress. A full bath is on the first floor. A second floor bedroom has a King size bed w/ memory foam mattress. There is a dresser and sofa that opens to a twin bed. There is a TV w/ DVD/VCR. Full bathroom upstairs. The other bedroom has 2 double beds and bunk beds. There is a new crib (for up to 18mo) and a guard for twin bed for toddlers. Outside on the wrap-around porch are rocking chairs, table w/ 4 chairs, swing, hammock, and gas grill. There is a fire-pit to enjoy S'mores. There is a stream that run along the driveway. |

Transylvania County is famous for its 250 waterfalls. There are 5 State & National Forest. A Hatchery that supplies the rivers with trout and other fish. Canoeing, hiking, bicking, kayaking is only 5 miles away. Davidson Guides can help with flyfishing. We have a neighbor who will come to our home and take you on a tour of waterfalls that are on private property. Music is heard every night. There is a gathering in different communities w/ food and dancing. Brevard College of Music has performances. Photography and painting is a favorite pastime. |
