Villa Nostalgia is a brand new located in an elevated position near the village of Plaka and it has been thoughtfully designed to offer all possible comforts for a party of up to six. It proudly overlooks the stunning bay of Souda with views to the Akrotiri peninsula and the White Mountains. The spacious living area comprises a fully equipped kitchen with brand new appliances and a dining area for six persons. The sunny lounge is comfortably furnished with leather sofas and easy chairs. A door opens out onto an attractive covered terrace which is nicely furnished and boasts glorious views of the pool and the surrounding country side. Large picture windows and patio doors ensure that the superb sea views are enjoyed from almost every room. The ground floor also includes a twin bedroom with access to the terrace as well as a cloakroom with w.c. On the first floor there are two further bedrooms, one with twin beds and the other with a double. There is also a fully bathroom with washing machine area. There are French windows leading onto the terrace with excellent sea views. |

Plaka is a tiny, laid-back, hillside village set on the hill directly above the popular bay of Almirida. The views of Souda Bay from this area are second to none. The community has a friendly and truly international flavour, as it has become the home of many people from abroad. The village is approximately 22 kilometers from Chania, in Chania Prefecture. It is located just above from Almirida Beach and the neighbouring villages Kambia, Kokkino Horio, Kalives and Gavalohori are all just a few minutes drive. At the small village square there are a few traditional taverns, minimarkets and coffee shops, where you can enjoy the village atmosphere as the friendly locals go about their business in typical laid- back fashion. Almirida has a longbeach that is popular with families. Wind surfers, kayaks, paddle boats and beach chairs can be rented on the beach. There are many hotels, rental rooms, taverns, bars, snack and cafe bars, gift shops, grocery stores and bakeries, all of which are open late into the night in the tourist season. |
