McCormick Woods and Gold Mountain are also not far. If you like the beach, the owner's membership in the best private beach in the state awaits you at Indianola beach 4.5 miles away or stop at Arness park just 1.5 miles down the road. Both are sugar sand beaches, rare for the Northwest. Into lighthouses? The Clara Vista is 15 minutes to historic Point No Point park with its well known lighthouse and park. Do you know how Seattle got its name? Stop at chief Sealth's grave 15 minutes away to find out. Visit the Suquamish Museum and long house at the same time. Like shopping and restaurants? Walk, bike or drive to down town Kingston just a short 2 miles away and offering shopping, restaurants plus bicycle and art museums. Kingston also offers concerts at the marina park every Tuesday in August as well as a fantastic farmers market and craft fair every Saturday. How about downtown Poulsbo and Liberty Bay?
