The historic house known as the "Arboretum", was built by the State as the building that housed natural plant specimens. The building went into disrepair, and sat vacant for 30 years. The Arboretum is now a spacious residence, with three large bedrooms on the 2nd Floor, with a private Master Bedroom & Bath, with the two guest bedroos sharing a bath. There is also a cozy sitting area with books and games on the 2nd Floor. The first floor has a large living room with a pool table, a dining / sitting room with a fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a study with a full bath. The deck overlooking the river is perfect for cook-outs. The salt water River is perfect for fishing and canoeing ( or kayaking ). Pets and childern are welcome, as the front yard is fenced in. |
